One of the best activities we have ever had here at St George’s. Residents, staff & visitors alike boogied with their own set of personal headphones and more neon accessories than you could shake a stick at! We rounded off a fantastic afternoon with a family supper and have already booked our next session in December. Watch this space……..!!

We had a wonderful day out with a record number of residents and visitors on a glorious summers day in the beautiful Vivary Park. Ice-creams, pottering amongst the plants and a browse around the stalls were the perfect way to spend a Friday afternoon.

Well, what a party we had!! On Saturday 1st September we held our annual Summer Fayre, but this time with the exciting addition of a 100th birthday celebration for our resident Dinah. The weather was kind, the Mayor joined us and we all enjoyed sumptuous cake and fizz. Thank you to the wonderful St Georges team for making this all possible & to Dinah for sharing such a special day with us.
We have a new resident.....Georgie the baby Horsefield tortoise!! We felt we all needed a pet here at St Georges and Georgie is just perfect. We are already enjoying helping to bathe and feed him (or her.....we won't know for a good few more years!). Georgie can be found in the sun lounge if anyone would like to meet him.
