One of the best activities we have ever had here at St George’s. Residents, staff & visitors alike boogied with their own set of personal headphones and more neon accessories than you could shake a stick at! We rounded off a fantastic afternoon with a family supper and have already booked our next session in December. Watch this space……..!!

We had a wonderful day out with a record number of residents and visitors on a glorious summers day in the beautiful Vivary Park. Ice-creams, pottering amongst the plants and a browse around the stalls were the perfect way to spend a Friday afternoon.
5 September 2018.
Well, what a party we had!! On Saturday 1st September we held our annual Summer Fayre, but this time with the exciting addition of a 100th birthday celebration for our resident Dinah. The weather was kind, the Mayor joined us and we all enjoyed sumptuous cake and fizz. Thank you to the wonderful St Georges team for making this all possible & to Dinah for sharing such a special day with us.
The work continued and there was the inevitable delay. We did not let it get us down , the residents referred to it as our 'Dunkirk spirit". To get away from the noise we went out for afternoon tea. Finally the great day arrived and we had an official opening of the lounge . Edna and Charlie from BBC Somerset cut the ribbon. We marked the occasion with a party . We are really enjoying the beautiful new lounge.
